The North Sydney Data Centre (NSDC) building authority has scheduled maintenance work to install smart meters at 39 Herbert Street, St Leonards, NSW 2065. Due to the disconnection of the mains supply during the installation, our supply partner team is taking advantage of the opportunity to execute generator load testing (Dark Site Test) at the North Sydney Data Centre (NSDC) at the same time as part of our comprehensive maintenance program.
During the maintenance window, North Sydney Data Centre (NSDC) services will experience hazardous conditions for up to 3 hours. This activity has been planned to ensure the highest operational standards are maintained and to minimize the risk of disruption to your operational environment.
This activity includes simulating a mains failure while the mains are still healthy which will bring the generator online. Once the site is stable EPG (Emergency Power Generator) supply, the building authority will disconnect the main supply and our supply partner team will perform various maintenance inspection. The local building authority work will be verified for the completion before returning the site to the mains utility supply.
During the maintenance window, the DC Facility Management team and specialist vendors will be onsite to supervise and monitor the health of services.
Intergrid Service Management team will monitor the health of services throughout the change window.
